5 Tips for Planning Your 30A Bachelorette Party

It’s time to ditch the Trip Adviser reviews and generic guide templates. Here is what you really need to know before planning your 30A bachelorette weekend straight from a 30A local and former bride herself.

TIP #1: Organization is Key

Listen, I am not saying a 10-page itinerary template with outfit inspiration and a packing list is necessary, but some kind of timeline sheet to stay on top of things is important. Focus on the basics: travel information, cost breakdown, and a list of activities you do not want to miss out on your bachelorette trip. You can set reminders of when to book travel, outstanding balances, and due dates for final decisions.

Tip #2: Follow Local Restaurants

This is important when picking out the places you want to eat at, especially if it is a destination you have never been to! You can see what customers are posting about them, special food items, and video reels of the restaurant and its surroundings. Instagram is basically a business portfolio.

Tip #3: Hire a Professional

It is so easy to say “let’s save the money and do it ourselves” until the moment comes when you have to! Navigating a new city, packing extra décor, and trying to remember all the supplies to set up can be very overwhelming and time-consuming when you’re supposed to be having fun! At Bach Haus, we have extensive local knowledge and work with the best companies in the area—let’s chat about helping you plan your bachelorette party so you can avoid having to do hours of research and inquiries and focus on enjoying the experience!

Tip #4: Gift Reusable Items

This is a hill we will die on! This goes for gift bags, shirts, towels, etc. Opt for reusable embroidered boat totes or personalized burlap beach bags that can be used for years to come. Add a personal touch by adding in some of your favorite items for the girls to try. Use items that make sense for your location (ie: mini fans and towels for Florida). This will elevate the look of your décor!

Tip #5: Avoid Overbooking the Itinerary

This Is a big one. Leave time for your group to explore the town and find hidden gems of their own. Leave a morning/afternoon free where your group can split up and explore, or wander together! Factor in time for pictures and dance parties when getting ready—you won’t regret it!

Our most important bonus tip: Have fun! This process should be enjoyable and smooth. If you feel like you are struggling along the way, reach out to us and we will guide you to the finish line!
